Piecemeal is an evolving selection of work by Salt Spring Island artists, presented at The Salty Pear Gallery.

Just a short walk from the bustle of the Saturday Market, the exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to discover a wide cross section of artists working on the island, from painting, photography and printmaking to sculpture, textiles and mixed media. The work changes throughout the season. When one piece sells, another may take its place, allowing the exhibition to remain fresh and continually introduce new work and artists.

The gallery keeps limited and sometimes unconventional public hours, in keeping with island life.

Private viewings can also be arranged, and guests staying at The Salty Pear are invited to enjoy a personal tour.

A little quieter than the market, but filled with things worth finding.
